About The Standard Filters: 

Stardard Filter #1: A 1.0 micron Hytrex poly, three layer filter for rust, scale and general turbidity.
Replacement cost: $12.00.

Stardard Filter #2: A 0.0135 micron ceramic exterior and K.D.F. inner core filter, for bacteria and extra fine particulate mater. This filter can be cleaned and reused and will last quite long will general handling.
Replacement cost: $60.00.

Stardard Filter #3: A two stage filter: the bottom half holds 14 cubic inches of aluminum silica which attracts and binds fluoride. The top half contains 14 cubic inches of weak acid resin which attracts and binds lead and mercury.
Replacement cost: $60.00.

Stardard Filter #4: A 0.5 micron carbon block briquette addressing final chlorine removal, UOC's, bad tastes and odors.
Replacement cost: $20.00.
